| The 001 and 5551 routes will be combined this Friday afternoon (17 May). Students who would normally catch the 001 bus in the afternoon will need to catch the 5551 instead. The 5551 is first in the ranks on the roadside. |

| All | Labo In-Japan Homestay Program 2024-25 | BCN |
| This program is a must for all students Y9-13 who are interested in travelling, meeting new people, and have an interest in Japan. Students do not have to be studying Japanese or be able to speak Japanese, however it would be an advantage. The program does require a level of resilience and positive attitude. All the information is at https://nzstudytours.co.nz/labo/ Key points about the program · Applications close Friday 31st May 2024 · Departs Thursday 12th December 2024 · Returns Sunday 5th January 2025 · $7,560 per student, including return flights on Air New Zealand, accommodation throughout, all meals, 3 night winter youth camp, homestay with a host brother or sister and the support of the Labo International Exchange Foundation. | Pink Shirt Day is on Friday 17th of May. Students will be permitted to wear non-uniform, but you must wear PINK and bring a gold coin donation. Proceeds will be donated to pinkshirtday.org.nz. There will be activities for you to participate in, as well as a "Pink Parade" with a prize for the best dressed! Don’t forget staff are encouraged to wear pink too! Pink Shirt Day is about working together to stop bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting kindness and inclusiveness. |

| Charlotte Silverstone, our guitar and vocal coach is starting up a ukulele group from Term Three. It is open to everyone, no experience needed and we will provide the ukuleles. If you are interested please let me (Jessica Brown) know, either by coming to see me in the music room, or via email [email protected] It will be a fantastic opportunity to take part in the musical life of the school and do something cool with your friends! | I urgently need at least 10 volunteers to support the Helensville Lions to set up for their Autumn Book Fair on Friday the 24th of May. The work requires following the instructions of the Lions members, lifting boxes of books and setting them out for sale. You will transported to the Helensville Show Grounds at 10.00am and return to school at around lunch time.
